Picture shows - Ariella Reggio is the 'Anchorwoman' who will present the programmes, and the Italian singer Roberto Cardinali, will round off each programme with a song.
On Saturday, October 5th 1963 at 12.30pm (repeated on Thursday October 10th at 11.15pm approx) BBC TV presents 'Parliamo Italiano', Let's Speak Italian, the first of 30 lessons for beginners.
Each programme will centre round a short dramatised scene involving two main characters Giulia Salviati and Giorgio Marini, and the first lesson will be 'Al Caffe' - Giulia and Giorgia meet at a coffee bar.
