Picture shows - Peter Davison, Eileen Atkins as Gertrude Morel with Karl Johnson as her son, Paul, and Jean Boht in "Sons And Lovers" a seven-part dramatisation by Trevor Griffiths of the famous novel by D.H. Lawrence. Karl Johnson joins the cast in Episiode 2 as the highly complex Paul Morel. The story traces the relationship of Paul with his mother, and how this affects his relationship with the two women in his life - Miriam and Clara. Episode 2 will be screened on BBC2 on Wednesday January 21st 1981.
